WorldPay is an international credit card processing company. Their primary business are both small and medium size organizations. A large percentage of their portfolio is made up of online businesses and their sales representatives seem to be best equipped to set up these types of accounts. Their agreements to typical include a specified length contract, along with a cancellation fee.
We have seen some reports that these fees can be waived if the customer makes a compelling case, but the fee is there for a reason and merchants should be aware of it before signing their contracts.

Advice from Fellow Small Business Owners
Just terrible. I made numerous requests for updating information by call and fax, which, however, was in vain. So, I had to keep the old business account that I wanted to close. One month before the contract term, I requested for cancellation of service because of their terrible service and high rate of service charges. At the time of request, I was told the cancellation fee is $95 but they withdrew $495 after three days. I made a call for the problem, but the customer representative made me more upset. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau (bbb.org).
This company is horrible. In a time when outsourcing is frowned upon this is a case where if they shifted their operations out of Atlanta it might actually get better. Their help line service is horrible….long waits and eventually getting disconnected a lot of the time. Their website is horrible to navagate. It snows in Atlanta and all of a sudden the deposits stop getting put in the bank? Are you kidding me?
