Practice Pay Solutions was founded in 1997 and specializing in online businesses. This is fairly unique to many of the businesses we have reviewed, as most are focused more on physical traditional brick and mortar stores than online retailers.
As they are focused on online retailers their rates are going to look higher than some of their competitors that are advertising rates based on in person swiped transactions. Having said that their packaged pricing rates are higher than the ones that an experienced merchant can negotiate for themselves with other providers.
Our rankings are primarily based on the fees and costs associated with these accounts, so our score does not exactly reflect our feelings on this provider. However, for first time merchants looking to start processing credit cards with their online business we feel Practice Pay Solutions is a solid option. There are better price options available, but with a short term contract length merchants can begin working with Practice Pay and then potentially renegotiate rates or find a more aggressively price account when the time comes for it.
