The Transaction Group is an independent sales agent for PowerPay. This is important for a number of reasons.

Our experience in the merchant account industry has found that as the number of individuals between you and the end processor grows so to does the rates and fees associated with the merchant account.

All merchant account companies are held to pay Visa/Mastercard the rates and fees that they charge, the merchant account companies make their money by charging slightly more than these rates, and often also include service surcharges that are included in the statements at the end of each month.

Each company involved in the process is looking to add a small percentage to the base rates, and with the Transaction Group working through PowerPay, there are limited ability to provide lower rates than those companies that are a full degree closer to the base rates.
